Loperamide 2mg

Description

Loperamide is an anti-diarrheal medication which works by slowing down the movement of the gut hence reducing the number of bowel movements. It provides fast and effective relief against diarrheal symptoms however it doesn’t treat the cause e.g infection. Dosage of loperamide capsules: Initial; 2 capsules(adult) 1 capsule (children ages 5+) Then: 1 capsule after each episode of diarrhea. Don’t take more than 8 capsules in any 24hr period. Children ages 5+ should not take more than 3 capsules/20kg
